Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and highly experienced Butler to join a prestigious private estate in Palm Beach, Florida. As a Butler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless running of the household by providing exceptional service to the family and guests. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Provide tailored and attentive service to family members, guests, and other household staff, always ensuring a five-star experience.
- Household Management: Oversee day-to-day household operations, including managing the pantry, wardrobe, and personal effects of the family.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of events, dinners, and gatherings, ensuring flawless service and attention to detail.
- Dining and Service: Set tables, serve meals, and manage all aspects of fine dining, from meal preparation coordination to clean-up. Ensure wine and drink selection is appropriate for each occasion.
- Laundry and Wardrobe Management: Manage wardrobe organization, assist with garment care, and provide personal laundry services.
- Property Maintenance: Ensure the home is in perfect order, coordinating maintenance services, deliveries, and any other requirements for the upkeep of the estate.
- Travel Assistance: Provide travel coordination, packing, and unpacking services when the family travels, ensuring their comfort and needs are met while on the road.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information and personal matters with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a butler or similar high-end service role, preferably in a private estate or luxury environment.
- Exceptional knowledge of formal dining etiquette, household management, and fine service standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to anticipate needs and be proactive in providing exceptional service.
- Discretion, professionalism, and a polished appearance are essential.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
- Flexibility with working hours and availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
- Familiarity with high-end wine, spirits, and cuisine.
- Ideally local candidates to Palm Beach – No relocation
- Must have outstanding tenure to be considered and verifiable references
- Must have clean criminal background and clean driving background.
